The city of Rochester, Minnesota was founded on the banks of the Zumbro River in 1854 by George Head, a settler who named it after his hometown of Rochester, New York. Rochester soon blossomed into a city and focused around the institutions it eventually became home to, such as the Mayo Clinic and the largest contiguous IBM complex. Today, the Rochester, MN community consistently earns a place near the top of several of the "Most Livable Cities" lists, and was recently named America's 'Best Small City" by Money magazine.

If you feel like getting in touch with nature, Rochester's Quarry Hill Nature Center offers a 1,700-gallon aquarium of native fish, along with over five miles of trails. Nearby Silver Lake Park is home to canoe and paddleboat rentals in the summer, as well as trails skirting the lake. Finally, the Rochester, MN community also has food to suit any palate and stores to satisfy the mall-lover or the antique-hound. The beauty of the area, the big-city attractions and the down-to-earth atmosphere persuade many residents never to leave!

Rochester, MN is consistently named one of the nation's top cities to live in. Let me show you the town and help you find the home that is perfect for you!
